Matthew 25:14-3; Joshua 6:15-21 - Character: Having Vs. Being

Rev. Richard Bodini - January 6, 2019

A few years ago I bought a video study on Stewardship. Watched and read though it all. It looked good… but I didn’t know what to do with it. So it went on the shelf. Until the summer when I began thinking about sermons. Over the coming months we’ll be walking through this idea of discovering our purpose as God’s stewards. For the next few weeks we’ll be looking at our “Character.” How that factors into our being stewards. This plays well off of Jason Taff’s encouraging message about planning.

Luke 12:22-34 -- Character - Seeking Security

Rev. Richard Bodini - January 13, 2019

Security. We hear a lot about it these days. When Jesus says “Do not worry” what is He telling us? What happens if I worry? How can I move to a place of true security? It’s a big step. Sometimes a hard one. But a necessary one for eternal security.

Romans 12:1-8

1 Chronicles 17:1-15 -- Character: Holiness Required

Rev. Richard Bodini - January 27, 2019

You want to give, to make a major donation. But the response to your gift is “Thanks. But no thanks.” Why would anyone decline a gift? My gift. With God, it isn’t about the gift. It’s all about the gift giver. Where their heart and mind and hands are at. God asks that we work to become holy, like our Heavenly Father is holy.
