Luke 19:28-48 - THE WEEPY TRIUMPHAL ENTRY

Rev. Richard Bodini - April 14, 2019

Jesus was making the long journey to Jerusalem. He faced numerous challenges by way of Samaria, teachings, healings, encounters. Until He reaches the Mount of Olives, where He climbs upon a donkey and rides into the city He visited often. Now it’s for the last time. Later in the week, He would be betrayed, tried, beaten, and crucified. He would die and be buried… but three days later, He would rise from the grave. As Jesus triumphally approaches the city, He stops, looks, and weeps. Today, we will stop with Jesus for a moment and weep with Him.
